Faith ABC
Get Saved!
If you haven't made Jesus the Lord of your life, pray the following prayer out loud & believe - your life will be changed forever:
Father in Heaven, I've heard Your Word, and I want to be born again. Jesus, cleanse me of my sins. I want to be a child of God. I want to give my life to You. Make me a new person. Be my Lord and Savior.
I believe I'm now born again, because the Word of God says I am! Jesus is my Lord. Thank You, Jesus, for a new life. Amen!
Faith needs growing, and love. In order to grow in faith you need to join the local Christian church in your area. The fellowship with other Christians is vital for your spiritual growth in Christ.
Get Encouraged in Faith!
The following Scriptures will encourage you to overcome obstacles in your life. Take the Word into your mouth and heart, and hold on to it! You will be an overcomer, and it will become your lifestyle - in Christ.
Ephesians 3:20-21
Now to Him Who, by in consequence of the action of His power that is at work within us, is able to carry out His purpose and do superabundantly, far over and above all that we dare ask or think infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams-- To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen so be it.
John 10:10
The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance to the full, till it overflows.
2. Tim. 1:7
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear, but He has given us a spirit of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.
Jer. 29:11-13
For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome. Then you will call upon Me, and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear and heed you. Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me as a vital necessity and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.
Into Fullness of Christ!
As a newborn, Spirit-filled, tongue-talking and healing-believing believers we are taught to live in the fullness of Christ according to the uncompromised Word of the Lord..
The following Scripture set us a perfect standard for the definition of the Fullness of Christ. Also, this is one of the most powerful Scriptures describing the Glory of Jesus.
Ephesians 3:14-21
For this reason [seeing the greatness of this plan by which you are built together in Christ], I bow my knees before the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, for Whom every family in heaven and on earth is named [that Father from Whom all fatherhood takes its title and derives its name]. May He grant you out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the [Holy] Spirit [Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality]. May Christ through your faith [actually] dwell (settle down, abide, make His permanent home) in your hearts! May you be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love, that you may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints [God's devoted people, the experience of that love] what is the breadth and length and height and depth [of it]; [that you may really come] to know [practically, [e]through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses [f]mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] [g]unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and [h]become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]! Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]-- To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen (so be it). (Amplified translation) |
